The first details of next year’s SailGP calendar have been revealed — with more host cities and dates to be announced in due course.
Though there is still plenty of action to come this season, a look ahead to the following campaign provides a glimpse at another tantalizing set of high-speed races.
The U.S. SailGP Team will visit a number of exciting destinations over an 11-month period, starting with a trip down under for January’s Perth Sail Grand Prix, ahead of the Sydney Sail Grand Prix in February.
The action then moves to Rio de Janeiro for the Enel Rio Sail Grand Prix in April, before the North American leg gets underway in May.
Next up is the Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix, preceding the U.S. SailGP Team’s first scheduled home race of 2026 — the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix — and June’s Canada Sail Grand Prix in Halifax.
The European summer offers ample opportunities for racing in the sunshine, with the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in July and the ROCKWOOL France Sail Grand Prix taking place in September.
Finally, the SailGP season transitions to the Middle East for its closing stages. The Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix, presented by P&O Marinas, is set for November — leading into the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix 2026 Season Grand Final, presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
And the U.S. SailGP Team will be up against two new opponents in 2026, following the news that a pair of expansion teams are set to be added to the competition’s roster.
There are plenty of eye-catching developments, then, as anticipation starts to build for another captivating year of the most exciting racing on water.
