Welcome back for Day ✌️
So, what does Day 2 in Halifax have in store for us?
Day 1 was unpredictable and chaotic and we’re expecting more of the same on the East Coast of Canada.
Stick with us for coverage every step of the way.

Day 1 wrap 🗞️
What a day for the BONDS Flying Roos. They would have felt a sense of injustice at having their points in Race 1A (the first one!) taken from them but they hit back like the team they are, picking up a 10/10 points from the next two races.
How about the Black Foils? Back in the start box and back among the points with a P3 and a P2 to their name. Pete Burling will be delighted - a great way to kickstart the MSP Capital era.
For the U.S. SailGP Team, a brilliant start to Race 1 did not yield the result it ought to have and we go P5, P6 on Day 1 with work to do to make the four-team final on Super Sunday.
Stick with us for all the reaction.

Good afternoon 👋
It’s Race Day once more! We’re in beautiful Halifax, NS, for the Canada Sail Grand Prix, ready to bring you everything that happens on Day 1.
Already we’ve had news today: we’ll see a split fleet race format, with the U.S. SailGP Team placed in Group B alongside Emirates GBR, Artemis, Germany SailGP Team presented by Deutsche Bank, Red Bull Italy, Explora Swiss.
When SailGP heads to Halifax, it arrives in one of North America’s most storied maritime hubs.
Perched on the edge of the Atlantic, Halifax has a deep-rooted connection to the sea, with generations of sailors navigating its expansive natural harbor and the surrounding waters of Nova Scotia.
The racing unfolds on the dramatic stage of Halifax Harbour, where shifting Atlantic conditions can test even the most experienced crews. For fans, the combination of rugged coastal scenery, rich naval heritage, and a welcoming waterfront atmosphere makes Halifax a standout destination as SailGP’s global tour continues across the Atlantic.
