U.S. SailGP Team skipper gives his immediate reaction in LA

Sat in 6th place ahead of the Rolex Los Angeles Grand Prix, Canada and Giles Scott claim victory in the Final. New Zealand made a good start but Canada stuck it out to take the win.

But will it be enough? It won't! Tom Slingsby and Australia claim 7th ahead of the U.S. SailGP Team at the death which means they're into the Final at Britain's expense. It's 2nd place for Germany while Italy takes 3rd. A first Final the British will miss in season five!

Great Britain and Australia are jostling to take 3rd and qualify for the Final. A 7th-place finish would be enough for the Australians. It's back and forth at the moment to join Canada and New Zealand...

With only four crew members on Sunday, having a full-time grinder pays dividends!

They had three top-three finishes on Saturday and Australia takes P1 in Fleet Race 6. New Zealand take second and Canada see off Italy to take third.

Taylor Canfield and co. haven't let the disappointment of a tough start get the better of them. They've moved up the field and are currently into 3rd. Let's keep it going!

Drama at the start line as the U.S. SailGP Team were shut out. They're pushing hard to chase Great Britain in the early stages.

Work to do for Taylor Canfield and co. ahead of Fleet Race 6 after seeing off the Italian challenge to finish in P10.

Great Britain took full of advantage of a great start off the line and never looked like relinquishing first. Spain breezed home in second and the Canadian team beat out France to third.

After an impressive outing in the Port of Los Angeles on Saturday, the U.S. SailGP Team are well placed on Sunday. We get underway in less than an hour's time, at 2pm PDT, with skipper Taylor Canfield and co. looking to build on a good start to the weekend.

The French close out day 1 with victory in Fleet Race 4. In second, it's New Zealand to cap a strong day and Australia round off the top three.

It's a sprint to the finish and Australia deny Brazil a historic first win! Brazil take second and it's France in third.

Early start penalties for New Zealand and Switzerland as we start Fleet Race 3... ...and the Swiss are sent to the back after failing to take their penalty!

It's maximum points again for the Black Foils, 2/2 in Los Angeles. Canada take second place and Australia wrap up the top three.
